"Cool Yankee" is one of the Rare Kind and a member of the Angels. He, along with the other Angels, survived the events of December 32.

It turns out that Toki held his life, given to him by Zed, and "Cool Yankee" uses that to draw Toki into a warehouse. There, he revealed the missing people who had taken revenge on the criminals, but is rebuffed by Toki. Toki manages to hit him with a bullet, which was amplified by his guns. However, "Cool Yankee" manages to turn the tables on Toki after revealing that Nenene was not actually his sister, and that Prime Minister Fujiwara had switched their eyes after sealing his power.
In spite of his condition, Toki reveals that he already knew that fact, and returns "Cool Yankee"'s life. Toki proceeds to kill "Cool Yankee" by propelling some coins through him. Before disintegrating, "Cool Yankee" tells the group that Prime Minister Fujiwara had been the human behind December 32.
